' 3 [ Louisville, May 28.—Nearly all of the wholesale merchants and many prominent in other lines of business In Louisville filled the Board of Trade hall to overflowing and passed strong resolutions condemning statewide prohibition for Kentucky. They gave close attention to Rev. M. J. Fanning who spoke in favor of prohibition. The resolutions adopted condemn the saloon in politics, but declare statewide movement detrimental ‘‘to the best interests of Kentucky.”
