slrs. Zimmer called on Mrs. Guttrich Sunday. Frank Bretzinger called on Leonard Bice Sunday. Theresa Guttrich called on Mary Bice Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Bretzinger called on Mrs. Wilcox Sunday afternoon. Several attended Endeavor at Lonsdale Sunday evening. The rain seems to be helping the oats a little, if we don’t get too much. There will be a box supper at Lonsdale June 5. Everyone is welcome. Wonder why Eugene Hasty don’t go west any more? Eugene, better go back. Mr. Harris of Mackinaw, 111., spent Saturday and Sunday with Mr. Hasty’s.
Mrs. .M. E. Bice, who has been very sick, is not able to be out yet, is some better. Miss Mary Bice, who has been very sick for the past month, is able to be out again. Chas. Guttrich returned Sunday to Chicago after a few weeks’ visit with wife and children. Miss Carrie Hasty will return to Peoria, 111., Saturday, May 29, to spend a few weeks. Mrs. Payne, who has been waiting on the sick at Bice’s, returned home in Remington Sunday; Mary
