SIX QUAKE REFUGEES KILLED BY SOLDIERS
Relief Distribution Causes Riot. Panic at Messina. Reggio, Italy, May 25.—At Slnopoll the populace became enraged over the manner of the distribution of relief to the earthquake sufferers. They made a hostile demonstration against the authorities and attacked the barracks. Several soldiers were wounded and a volley was fired into the rioters, killing six of them and wounding several others. One of the severest shocks Bince the groat earthquake occurred at Messina.
