OH R-A-T-S!
A Winamac grocer uses the special mention given his store in the official publication issued by the state board of health’s pure food department, in an ad in the local papers there. According to this ad the Inspector said to the grocer: ‘‘Conditions are excellent in your store, far beyond what we usually find. In fact after going up and down the state, I can say your grocery is in a class by Itself. You deserve special mention, and I will see justice is done you In my published report.” Our ‘‘pure food” department certainly needs a thorough looking into before this thing of booming some certain store or stores goes much further. The more The Democrat sees of the work of these “inspectors” the more convinced it is that there is something mighty rotten in Denmark.
