Parrett, who received a call from the Presbyterian church of Chippewa Falls, Wis„ after duly considering the advantages and disadvantages of leaving Rensselaer, has decided to remain here for the present at least and continue as pastor of the First Presbyterian church of our city. Y This will be plefasing news to the many friends Zs Mr. and Mrs. Parrett in Rensselaer and vicinity, who disliked very much’ to lose them, although the church people did not feel like standing in his way for advancement very much, and the position offered him would have been quite advantageous to him in many ways.
