IOWA REPRESENTATIVES WIN
Defeat Effort to Bring Conductors’ Headquarters to Indiana.
Boston, May 14.—Cedar Rapids, la., will continue to be the headquarters of the Grand Division of the Order of Railway Conductors. Although W. T. Taylor, formerly attorney general of Indiana, and Mayor Charles A. Bookwaiter of Indianapolis, made strong pleas in behalf of the In diana city, they could not induce the convention to move the general offices. James H. Trewin, chairman of the lowa board of education, and J. H. Grimm of Cedar Rapids, upheld the interests of that place.
