RESOLUTIONS

On the Death of Mrs. Sarah E. Barkley, by the W. F. M. S., of the M. E. Church. Whereas, Our Heavenly Father in his wisdom, has seen fit to take from our midst our beloved sister, Sarah E. Barkley, be it > Resolved, That the W. F. M. S. has lost a faithful member, the church a true and devoted Christian and her sons a .kind and loving mother. Resolved, That though we shall miss her, we mourn not as those without hope, and our loss is her gain. Resolved, That a copy of these Resolutions be spread upon the records of the Society, a copy furnished to the bereaved family and a copy given to eacn of the city papers for publication.
