MURDER TRIAL IN THEATER
Court House Too Dilapidated to Risk Crowd of Spectators. Spencer, Ind., April 22.—The second trial of Emory Cassell for the murder of Thomas Mills began in the opera house of this city. In Indiana, at least, this is the first, time court proceedings have been held in a theater. The old court house is so phaky and the Interest in the Cassell murder trial so widespread in the county that the commissioners decided it would not be safe to risk a crowd of spectators assembling In the courtroom.
