Secretary of War Will Have Number of Guests Aboard Mayflower. Washington, April 16. —Announcement has been made by Secretary of War Dickinson that besides Major General Bell, chief of staff of the army.
seven persons will accompany him on his trip of Inspection of the Panama canal on board the president’s yacht Mayflower. Mrs. Dickinson, Miss Edna Owsley of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. James Ross Todd of Louisville, Dr. and Mrs. W. G. Ewing of Nashville, and Lincoln Clark, confidential clerk to the secretary of war, will compose the party. Postmaster General Hitchcock also may go.
