Routine Business Transacted But Nothing Done In Telephone Franchie Matter. The city council met In regular sessiog Monday night with all members presents except Couniclman Irwin. Nothing whatever was done with the telephone franchise mattter, and is it likley the matter will be dropped entirely. The marshal was authorized to notify property owners who have private sewers to the river to extend same out to the new channel. The petition of Horatio Ropp, et al, to narrow Leopold street in Leopold’s add, was referred to city attorney to prepare resolution. The following claims were allowed: ' CORPORATION FUND.
