MINISTER TAKES ACTION
Reports Anti Greek Riots In South Omaha to State Department Washington, Feb. 23.—L. A. Coromilas, the Greek minister, has received dispatches regarding the riots in South Omaha. He acquainted the state department with the reports, although the national government is powerless to do anything to alleviate the conditions further than to request the governor of Nebraska to afford such protection In the future as may lie in the power of the state authorities. Mob Store Owned by Greeks. Dayton, 0., Feb. 23.—A billiard hall and candj store owned by two Greeks was attacked by a mob of men and boys and the front of the building demolished. Several shots were fired.
