EDUCATORS MEET TODAY

Important Convention Will Be Held in Chicago. Chicago, Feb. 23. —The convention of the department of superintendence of the National Educational association will meet here today. Matters of great importance will be discussed. President Schneider, of the Chicago board of education, will welcome the pedagogues. There will be many prominent men and women educators present at the convention, which will last three days.

Brooklyn Bowler Wins. New York, Feb. 23.—1 n the first round of a bowling match between James Smith of Brooklyn and Louis Franz of Cleveland, Smith won by thirteen games out of fifteen. Dorando Defeats Five Men. St. Paul, Minn., Feb. 23.—Dorando Pietrl defeated a team of five local men who ran ten relays in a fifteen mile race.
