SPENARD JORDAN.
A very pretty wedding occurred at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Mary Jordan, north-west of Remington, at eleven o’clock Wednesday. The contracting parties being Mr. Amos Spenard and Miss Etna Jordan. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Rodman, of Fowler, in the presence of about forty relatives and friends. The house was beautifully decorated with pink carnations and evergreens. After the ceremony a sumptions dinner was served. Mr. and Mrs. Spenard drove- to Rensselaer, and took a train for Chicago, and after an extended trip through Illinois they will reside on the groom’s farm, south-east of Remington. The bride is a sister of Mrs. Frank Morrow of this city.
