NOW LOOKING FOR ANOTHER FARM.

T. F. Clark of Battle Ground was in the city on business Thursday and to shake hands with old friends. Since leaving Rensselaer a few years ago Mr. Clark has been quite fortunate in land investments, in a small way. When he sold his farm near Kingman he made $1,500 on same, and then bought a 40 acre farm near Battle Ground at $95 per acre. He has. recently sold it for $l3O per acre, clearing $1,400, and is now looking for another investment that will grow into more money. He likes Battle Ground flrstrate as a place of residence, and expects to buy property there and a farm wherever he can find one that suits him.
