yQrhe latest news from the Kanka- 1 ' fcee marshes is that the river is bank full and that the sloughs are beginning to overflow. This will be especially pleasing to the hundreds of duck hunters all over the state, all of whom were beginning to think there would be but little if any hunting this spring. With the marshes overflowed and the duck season extended to April 15, as now seems probable, the duck hunters should be well satisfied.
