MRS. MARY LOWMAN DIES.
After a period of illness covering nearly thirty years, Mrs. Mary Lowman died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mell Griffin with whom she has made her home for the past two years, on Elm street, early Saturday morning, the cause of her death being sciatic rheumatism. She had been dangerously ill with this disease for six weeks past, and the end was not unexpected. She leaves to mourn her departure six children. A. S., of Pleasant Ridge, A. 8., H. E. and Mrs. Mel Griffin of Rensselaer, G. A., of Amboy, and C. S., of Goblesville, Mich., her husband, W. S. Lowruan, having died in 1901. The funeral was held at the Griffin home Monday morning at ten o’clock, and interment was made in the Smith cemetary in Barkley township.
