CITY COUNCIL MEETING.

The city council met in regular session Monday night with all members present except Councilman Meyers. The report of the city treasurer was read and referred to the finance committee. In the matter of the Mellville street sewer ' extension, from the old channel of the river to the new, same was referred to sew’er committee, city attorney and city engineer, who will investigate. The usual number of claims were allowed.
