(From The Pilot.) A. J. Hufty left Monday afternoon for Warsaw, on a business trip. J. M. Witham spent Sunday with his son, Al Witham, near Surrey. Gene Perrigo left Monday for a few days visit with home folks at Watseka. Mr .and Mrs. W. O. McCord visited over Sunday) with relatives at Rensselaer... Emmet Rice left the first of the week for Cincinnati, where he will study telegraphy. Frank Clinton has purchased the former Bringle blacksmith shop and is now sole proprietor. Mrs. David Mauck left the last of last week for a several days visit with relatives at Mt. Glliad, Ohio. Mrs. Iva Smith came from Terre Haute Friday, to help care for Mrs. Frank Herath, who has been seriously ill.

Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Ashby returned Tuesday from a month’s visit with relatives at Brook, Kankakee and Chicago. John Rush loaded his household goods last Saturday and departed for Rensselaer, where he and his family will once more reside. Dave Guthrie has been offered a position as engineer on a dredge beat over near Morocco, and it is likely "that he will go there soon.
