ANOTHER CORN-SHREDDER VICTIM.
That terrible corn shredder has claimed another victim in the person of Nat Lewis, crippling him for life. Nat was feeding the machine last Saturday afternoon at J. W. Stevens’ farm in Gillam township, when his right hand was caught In the rollers and before the machine could be stopped his right arm up to the shoulder was a mass of broken bones and shredued flesh. Drs. Hack ley and Shearer were called, who dressed the awful wound and made the unfortunate man as comfortable as possible. It is thought the man will recover.—Medaryville Advertiser.
