Springfield Institution in the Hands of an Examiner. Springfield, Mo„ Dec. B.—Tb e National Exchange bank, one of the largegt financial institutions in this city, did not open its doors. The bank has a capital of SIOO,OOO. As the direct result of the closing President A, B. McDaniel was shot at by F. O. Oldham, cashier of the State Savings bank. The bullet narrowly missed McDaniel.
