Leads to the Recovery of $15,000 String of Pearls. New York, Dec. 4.—-A chance remark to Police Inspector McCafferty by the son of one of his friends that he knew a man who had a fine necklace for sale led to the recovery by Garrett E. Lamb of Clinton, la., of a string of pearls said to'be worth $15,000. Mr. Lamb said he was a guest in the home of Frank G.
