THE COMMON COUNCIL.

The city council met in regular session Monday night with all members present Resolutions on the of Jay W. Williams were adopted. Resolution passed fixing time of election of successor to J. W. Williams. The time set is Dec. 7. The sewer committee was instructed to act in the matter of extending sewers to the river. In the matter of South Van Rensselaer street improvement, resolution adopted. In the matter of Division and Scott street improvement, resolution adopted.
