C., Nov. 20.—Members of the Canadian Pacific railway -mechanical unions have decided to extend financial assistance to the union men on the eastern division who haTe not been taken back to their former employment following the machinists' strike. Every union man in the local •hops gave a dollar this week as the nucleus of a fund to be contributed to needy workers.
