The Chicago Dally Journal, until now an independent paper, has come out as a daily and will henceforth advocate democratic principles. The Journal is one of the oldest of Chicago’s newspapers, having been established in 1844, and has a very large circulation. The need of a true democratic paper in Chicago has long been felt, and now that the Journal has fully espoused the democratic cause, and did excellent work in the campaign Just closed, it is up to the democrats of the middle west, who want a Chicago paper, to subscribe for the Journal. The Democrat has made arrangements to club with the Journal, and can furnish it and The Democrat for per year, or only $2.00 additional oyer the price of The Democrat alone.
