CUBBFAIL TO WIN THIRD GAME Tigers Take It by a Score of Eight to Three with Pflester and Mullin Pitching. Chicago, Oct. 13.—The third game of the world’s championship series at baseball was a dampener for Chicago fans, the Cuba getting only three runs, all in the fourth inning, while the Tigers rolled up eight, of which five were marked up in the sixth. There was another great throng at the game, though the weather again made overcoats and furs depirable. The series now stands: Chicago, 2; Detroit, 1.
