EATS POISON TABLETS.

afternoon Dr. Tufler’s little son got some mercury-chlor-ide tablets, that his mother thought she had put out of his reach, but as she returned from the phone, where she had been called from her writing, she noticed that the little follow had gotten hold of the poison and was spitting out some of it, having presumably swallwed a small portion. As soon aB she discovered what he had been eating, she gave him some cream to drink, and called Dr. Tufler who called Dr. Washburn, and the two applied the stomach pump with such good results that the little fellow now seems to be out of danger. Tuesday afternoon he was playing around as usual, with the only signs of the terrible ordeal he had gone through being slight burns about the mouth. This drug is one of the most deadly of poisons.
