Is not the man who is a depositor in banks, or who expects to be a depositor, just as much entitled to security for his money as the nation, tha state, the county, the city, the town and the township? Is he more Interested in having his small share of the public money made safe than he is in hsving his private funds, which mean so much to him and his family, made equally secure? The Democratic party and its candidates are pledged to the passage of a law guaranteeing the deposits of all persons. The Republican party and its candidates are opposed to such a law. If the voter favors such a law the only way he can secure it Is by voting the Democratic ticket.

A Homemade Harp. Take a piece of wood six and a half Inches long and two inches wide and cut five little slits at each end. Then take a piece of wood one and threequarters inches long and a half inch high. Buy a long piece of rubber, take one end of the rubber, pull it into one of the slits and when you see that you have enough to stretch from one of the slits to the other then cut it and fasten the other end in the opposite silt. Make and adjust four more of these pieces and then take the small piece of wood and' put it under the strings and you’ll have your harp. It can be tuned by making the strings tighter or looser, and then ycS can play.
