He had one held of 30 acres of oats that was so poor that he only cut 12 acres of it, , but another 40 acre, field was reasonably good. The yield however will not average very high. D. M. Worland went to Sunday to meet hla father and slater from St. Paul, Kan., who were, booked to arrive last Friday evening. Dave wept over to the LaSalle street station as soon as he could and waited for a later train to come in, but no father was aboard. He happened to think that his brother might have captured them and taken them to his home in Hammond, and so he had. After visiting a week or so with him they will come to see Dave and family.
