The will of the late Addison Parkison was filed for probate Monday. R. A. Parkjson, a nephew, and Charles Moody, a son-in-law, are named as executors. The Instrument was executed Nqv. 27, 1907, and it bequeaths the estate about equally between the widow, the two surviving daughters, Mrs. John Moore and Mrs. George Ketchum, and the heirs of the three deceased daughters, one sixth to each. That is, the one-sixth that each of the deceased daughters would have received, goes to the heirs of said daughter. Miss Bessie Moody is the only heir of Mrs. Charles Moody. Mrs. Mark Yeoman left one child, and Mrs. Thos. E. Willey three children. The estate is supposed to be worth about SIIO,OOO and is divided as follows: In fee simple ,to the widow the residence property in Rensselaer, all household goods, horse, buggy, etc, “intended to be equivalent to $3,000,” also 337 acres of land in Barkley tp., “intended to be equivalent to $18,530, and $10,470 in cash, which provision is in full and “in conformity with a written agreement executed by my said wife and myself before our marriage, except that provision herein is for a larger amount than named in said agreement.”
To Juliette Moore, 120 acres of land, valued at $6,000, and also business property of decedent on Washington street in Rensselaer, equivalent to $7,000, also SII,OOO in cash. Heretofore advanced to said daughter in land $6,000. To Stella A. Ketchum 294 acres of land, equivalent to $20,590, and $4,910 in cash. Heretofore advanced to said daughter $4,500. Heretofore advanced to the mother of said grand-children $4,300. - To each of the seven churches in Rensselaer, SSO. The amounts heretofore advanced are to be deducted from the cash bequests. The will provides that if there be not enough to cover the bequests of personal property that each share shall be reduced in proportion. It was the intention of the decedent to give $30,000 to the widow and each daughter or her heirs, also $2,000 additional to the widow. The winter residence in California, valued at $3,000, was the property of the widow. The estate will not reach the value that decedent estimated, it seems, however, and instead of $30,000 each they will each receive about SIB,OOO.
