Judge Cantrill was the presiding judge in th • first two trials of Caleb Powers, who was charged with complicity In the as sasslnatlon of William Goebel. Three years ago Judge Cantrill was elected judge of the court of appeals for the state of Kentucky, but resigned several months ago.
