S ALOONS BARRED IN PULASKI.
February 11.— For the fimnime in its history, ’ Pulaski county is “dry,” and it will remain “dry” for nearly two years so far as legitimate saleß of intoxicants is concerned. The remaining threesaloons in the county at Winamac, Star City and Dunham were closed yesterday afternoon by Judge John C. Nye revoking their licenses. Last evening George Shorter, proprietor of the last Winamac saloon, was arrested on a “blind tiger” charge on five different counts, and his bartenders were also placed under arrest. It is said there are four “blind tigers” operating in the county, and the sheriff is -giving them his special attention.
