MEET TO ELECT COUNTY CHAIRMAN TODAY.

The various precinct committeemen -elected last Saturday will meet in Rensselaer today to elect a democratic county chairman, secretary and treasurer. We understand that Mr. L. Strong, who has been chairman for the past two years, does not care to have the office another ten#, and that someone else will probably be selected instead. The fact of the state convention being held so early this year and delegates thereto usually being selected at our county convention, will necessitate an early county convention, and Saturday, March 21, is being talked of as the probable date. Thls matter will be discnssed by the meeting toduy and date decided upon.
