Genoa, Feb. 13.—Franco; the deposed premier and dictator of Portugal, remains in seclusion at hls hotel here. In conversation he reiterated hls desire to withdraw from political life forever. “The events at Lisbon have shaken me to the depths,” he said, “and I cannot hope to find the peace and tranquillity I so much need even In the calm of this hospitable Italian climate.”
