Oxford was the scene of a terrible crime one morning last week. Claude Dodson, aged abont 30 years, a brother of Co. Snpt. Dodson of Fowler, returned recently from South Dakota where he had been for some time, and had shown signs of insanity, fie was examined by a doctor who pronounced him insane, bnt said be was not dangerous. take him into custody, the insane man went to the bed occupied by his aunt, Mrs. Jane Harris, aged 75 years and who was an invalid from paralysis, and with a big butcher-knife nearly severed her head from the body, He has now been placed in jail and wilt be sent to the asylum.
