B- Light, also of Brook were visitors here Monday- . - David Bowman, appointed to serve out the unexpired term of Sheriff Oglesby of Pulaski county who was recently murdered in a fight with tramps, declined to take the office on the grounds that it meant too'much of a financial sacratice to him, and Chas. M. Swisher of Medaryville, a brother of Mrs. Oglesby, has been appointed to the place.
