MORMON ELDERS HERE.

A company of Elders representing “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints” are to be in Rensselaer to-day. They will hold meetings on the northwest corner of the public square. These young men, “Mormons,” ten in number, are walking through the country two by two, preaching the Gospel of Christ as it is taught in the Bible. They will explain the book of Mormon and the history of the Mormon people. This will be a good opportunity for people to learn of this peculiar belief.
