Plot to BlowUp Cicago Jail.

Chicago; May 20.—A plot to blow up the connty jail and effect a wholesale delivery of prisoners was discovered when Jailer John Whitman found a quantity of nitroglycerin in the cell of Charles Hansen, a prisoner convicted of the murder of Policeman Luke Fitzpatrick and sentenced to life imprisonment in the penitentiary. Hansen confessed that the explosive was obtained for the purpose named.
