Los Angeles, Cal., May 23. The Southern Pacific Railway company offers SIO,OOO reward for the arrest and conviction of the miscreant or miscreants, who derailed a train on a trestle at West Glendale, ten miles north of here. The train was thrown from the trestle, falling sixteen feet, and J. T. McMahan, of Santa Barbara, and James Victor, a boy, were killed, and twenty-two other persons were wounded, all of whom, however, will recover. The work was undoubtedly done by train wreckers, although its motive Is hard to fathom, as no one was robbed, so far aa known.
