HRS. WILLIAM LEEK DEAD.

Mrs. William Leek died at her home on College street last Sudday afternoon at one o’clock after a ten days sickness from pneumonia and heart trouble. Her condition was not considered serious by her friends, although the attending physician realized that the heart ailment made the case quite critical. She seemed considerable better Sunday and had beert*Taised up in bed at her request when sh<B was suddenly seized with heart trouble and died in a few moments. Deceased bas born in LaSalle county, 111., Oct. 27, 1849, and with her husband and family came to this county and settled in Newton tp., about eleven years ago. For the past year they had resided in town, her husband having bought the former Fisher hitch barn here. She leaves a busband and three children, Frank, Earl and Della, the last named still residing at home. Funeral was held from the house Tuesday at 2:30 p. m., conducted by Rev. B, F. Ferguson, and interment made in Weston cemetery.
