Mr. Harvey Messman, of Kentland and Miss Emma Lane, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lane of Newton tp., were united in marriage at St. Augustine’s Catholic church at 9a. m., Tuesday, Rev. Father Meyer officiating. A reception was given Tuesday evening at the home of the bride’s parents to which some seventy-five guests were present and the bridal pair were the recipients of a large number of handsome presents. The bride is a popular and well known teacher of Jasper connty and her host of friends wish her much happiness. They will reside on a farm near Kentland, we understand.
