Crapsey Renounces the Cloth.

Rochester, N. Y., Nov. 27.—A struggle which he believes will shake the Protestant Episcopal church has been begun by Rev. Or. Algernon. S. Crap*e.v. Refusing to make a “cowardly retraction" of his belief. Dr. Crapsey, who is rector of St. Andrew’s of this city, renounced finally the ministry in the church. At the same time he declared he was about to carry the case to the “free Intelligence and enlightened conscience of the world," and dedicated the remainder of Ills life to the cause.
