Pittsburg, Nov. 21.—Mrs. Eliza Downing, mother of tho late George Smith (I'ittshurg Phil), who acquired some fame as a turf “plunger," and Thomas S. Wood, a wealthy coal and real estate dealer, were married In Youngstown, 0.. last Wednesday. The marriage was not announced here until now.
