DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION TO-DAY.

County Ticket To Be Nominated and Delegates Selected To State and District Conventions. The democratic county convention will meet to-day in the east court room to nominate a county ticket and to select delegates to the state and district conventions to be held later. The convention is called to meet at 11 a. m.. but it is probable that only the preliminary work of the convention will be held at this time, and that the convention proper will not convene to make the nominations until 1 p. m. Primaries were held Saturday last to select delegates to this convention, but only a few precincts had reported at the time of The Democrat’s going to press, as follows: Marion—Precinct No. 1.
