A DRAMATIC RECITAL.

A Dramatic Reading of more than ordinary interest will be held at the College. Mr. C. E. Griffith, reader for the Chicago Shakespearean Club, will read the play of “Twelfth Night”, considered by many to be Sbakespear’s finest comedy. Mr. Giffith is without doubt the first reader and interpreter of Shakespear in Chicago, and perhaps in America. To lovers and admirers of elocutionary art, this will be an event which they should not miss. “Twelfth Night” hwill be read Tuesday evening, May 29, at 8 o’clock, and “Julius Ceaser” Wednesday Morning at 7:45. Mr. Griffith’s accompainist, Mr. Frank F. Winter, is a v ; olinist of great artistic attainments. Mr. Winter will also present several solos. Mr. Griffith’s and Winter’s biweekly programs in Music Hall were among the most successful in Chicago this year, scores of people being turned away on each occasion. Tickets may be procured at entrance of College Gymnasium, Price 50 cents.
