LOSES IN SUPREME COURT.

The Supreme Court of the United States to-day sustained the courts below in the case of James B. Howard vs. the State of Kentucky, thrice convioted of the murder of Governor Goebel. Howard appealed because one juror was said to have conversed with a person not a member of the jury. The appeal was not sustained and Howard loses. He is under sentence of life imprisonment.
