EDWARD T. BIGGS DEAD.

E. T. Biggs, mention of whose critical condition was made in last week’s Democrat, died at bis home in Wheatfield Saturday morning at 7 o’clock. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at Wheatfield, Rev. B. F. Ferguson of Rensselaer conducting the services. Mr. Biggs was one of the wealthiest and most prominent citizens of northern Jasper. He had been sick for several months, with internal cancer, we understand, and was at a sanitarium at Indianapolis for some time, but nothing could be done to cure him. From a lifrge, robust man weighing probably over two hundred pounds, be had wasted away until he was a mere shodow of his former self. Quite a number of Rensselaer friends attended the funeral. Deceased was about 57 years of age.
