LECTURE COURSE.

The committee on entertainment, appointed recently by the library board, met Saturday and appointed subcommittees as follows: County Supt. L. H. Hamilton, on Foreign Lectures; Prof. I. N. Warren, on School Entertainments and Educational Lectures; Mrs. E. C. English, on Music, Song and Orchestra; Mrs. J. H. Chapman, on Social and Religious Entertainments. The Fiction Club meet every two weeks at the Library Hall, first meeting last Monday evening. It was resolved by the full committee that five first class foreign entertainments be provided and that season tickets for same be sold at $2 each. A new stock of ladies’ cloaks, special low prices for Thanksgiving, at the Chicago Bargain Store.
