RUNNING RACES.
At Rensselaer Stock Farm Track Rensselaer, Ind., Thursday, Oct. 26, 1905, the following races and other events will take place i Races called at 1:30 p. m. Two furlong heat race, purse $25, best two in three, divided 50, 30 and 20 per cent. Half mile heat race, purse S4O; best two in three, sto enter, 3 to start, purse to be divided 50, 30 .and 20 per cent. One mile dash, purse SSO, divided S3O, sls and $5. In the two latter races the horses will be required to carry weight for age. Aged mares and geldings 115 lbs; stallons 120 lbs. Any rider intentionally interfering with any othe rider or horse will forfeit all rights to any money. Entrance fee, 5 per cent, of purse, and 5 per cant, will be deducted from all winners. 100 yard foot race, purse $5.00. Wrestling match, side holts. A sufficient police force will be on the ground to preserve order. Admission will be charged at the gates, except for ladies, who will be admitted free. Any profit accruing from the meet will be given to the needy poor of Rensselaer: Entrances can be made with B. K. Zimmerman, Rensselaer Jockey Club, Rensselaer, Ind. The black running horse, J. W. Walker, owned by a lady in Oklahoma City, has been ordered sold, and will be sold at public auction to the highest bidder in Rensselaer on Saturday (to-day) afternoon.
