The following basis of assessment for personal property was adopted at the meeting of the various assessors held here last Friday: Good notes drawing 8 per cent interest at their face values. Good notes drawing 6 per cent at a discount of 3 per cent. All stocks of goods and merchandise to be assessed at 75 per cent of the invoice value. All average horses with speed records, S2OO and upwards at the discretion of the assessor. All pure bred draft horses SSOO, or grade draft horses, $200; higher or lower at the discretion of the assessor. FARM HORSES.
