Indianapolis, Jan. 2fi.—ln the state seriate: Smith’s marriage bill was mnenfled so as to require bans to lie published, ten days in advance in church or in newspapers before granting of license: Moore’s bill amending tiie Nicholson law was made a special order for next Tuesday; Hendee’s bill regarding liolding of corporation stock passed after some amendments. In the house: Carmichael Introduced a bill to establish new state norma 1 school at Muncie; McDonald’s bill repealing the law under which railroad subsidies are voted was passed: ways and means committee recommended an appropria tion for a monument of Governor Morton in the state house yard; committee reported in favor of bill for state laboratory of hygiene.
